Join the official community launch of The Modern Twi Guide, a practical introduction to Twi and the culture carried through it. The gathering is designed for heritage learners, families, travelers, language lovers and anyone simply curious to learn something new.

The hour is designed for people who know Ghana well and people encountering Twi for the first time. Come curious. No previous knowledge of Twi or Ghana is required.

No books will be sold onsite.
The celebration is centered on language, culture and community. Purchase your copy beforehand if you would like to bring it for signing; purchasing a book is not required to attend.

Plan to arrive about 10–15 minutes before noon so you can get settled before the program begins.
Curiosity is enough.
No Twi knowledge is needed. Bring your book only if you already own one or want it signed.

Do I need to know Twi?
No. The program is intentionally beginner-friendly and designed to welcome people with no previous connection to Twi or Ghana.
Is the event really free?
Yes. The October 3 community celebration is free and open to the public. RSVP helps us plan attendance.
Do I need to buy the book to attend?
No. The book is not required. If you would like a signed copy, buy it before the event and bring it with you.
Can I buy a book at the library?
No. Books will not be sold onsite at the library. The Modern Twi Guide is available now through twiguide.com and Amazon.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. Include the total number attending in your RSVP so we can plan appropriately.
